Age: 31 · Occupation: Project Manager David Young was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. He grew up in the bustling city and, and was an avid skateboarder as a kid and teenager. His life changed at 15 years old when his mother married a passionate outdoorsman. Their family moved out of town and into an area where he could spend days on the land with his stepfather. From there on, David’s love for the wild began. He was hungry to learn everything he could about hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. After high school, David worked as a mechanic. He learned many things and further honed his problem-solving abilities. Driven to take those skills to an arena he was passionate about, he pursued a career in wildlife biology. He worked seasonally with Idaho Fish and Game for a few years, and eventually landed a job as a Biologist at Fairchild Air Force base. He left his job as a Biologist in 2020 and began to work in his stepfather’s family business, where he now spends his days as a project manager renovating and building hotels. In 2023, he met and fell in love with his wife Katie, and soon married. They enjoy hiking, hunting, and camping together. Together they have 2 little girls. David wanted to take on the Alone challenge to inspire his daughters to follow the call of their hearts, honor God, and have an adventure of a lifetime.He hopes for big game hunting success and warm shelter!
